01Who we are

Oasis Luxury Events ("Oasis," "we," "us" or "our") is a trade name of Bluebell Visual Designs, LLC, a limited liability company organized in the State of Utah. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information collected automatically

When you visit our website, your browser and our hosting provider may automatically share basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This is standard for websites and helps keep the site working and secure.

Information from others

We may receive information from payment providers (such as confirmation that a payment succeeded) and from people who book on your behalf, such as a friend planning a surprise for you.

03How we use your information

  • To build your quote, confirm your booking, and plan, deliver, set up and take down your picnic.
  • To prepare food and plan around allergies and dietary needs.
  • To process payments, deposits, balances, refunds and any charges under our Terms.
  • To contact you about your booking, including confirmations, reminders, styling questions, location details and weather plans.
  • To follow up if you start a booking but don't finish, including reminder emails that may offer a discount.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To send you news and offers, if you've agreed to receive them (see Section 9).
  • To improve our services, website and booking experience.
  • To prevent fraud, keep our website secure, enforce our Terms and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

04Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other companies for their own advertising.

We share information only as needed to run our business and deliver your picnic:

  • Our team and contractors, such as stylists and setup crew, who need your booking and location details to deliver your picnic.
  • Vendors you've booked through us, such as food vendors (for dietary needs) or a photographer (for timing and location). They receive only what they need.
  • Payment providers, such as our card processor and Klarna, to process payments and refunds.
  • Data processing providers that store and process information for us, such as website hosting, our customer database, email and booking tools. We share your name, email, phone number and booking details with them so they can provide these services. They may use your information only to provide services to us, not for their own purposes.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, to respond to legal process, to protect the safety of people or property, or to respond to a payment dispute.
  • Business changes, if our business is sold, merged or reorganized, in which case your information would remain protected by this policy.

05Payments

Card payments are processed by a third-party payment processor that follows industry security standards. We do not store full card numbers or security codes on our systems. We may keep limited details, such as the card type, the last four digits and the payment date, for our records and for refunds.

If you choose to pay with Klarna, Klarna collects and uses your information under its own privacy policy, including for approval and credit decisions. We receive only what we need to confirm and manage your booking.

06Saved bookings and browser storage

When you enter your name, email and phone number in our booking form, we save them along with your booking choices, even if you don't finish booking. This lets us help you pick up where you left off and send you a reminder about your unfinished booking. This information is stored with our data processing providers (see Section 4).

The booking form may also keep a copy of your quotes in your web browser's local storage on your own device, so you can return to them quickly.

  • Anyone who uses the same browser on the same device, and enters the same email, may see those saved quotes. On a shared device, use a private window or clear your browser data when you're done.
  • You can delete a saved quote using the "Remove" option on the welcome-back screen, or by clearing your browser's site data.

07Cookies and analytics

We use only the browser storage needed to make our website and booking form work, as described in Section 6. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

Our website loads fonts from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser connects to Google, which can see your IP address. Google's use of that information is covered by Google's privacy policy.

If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this policy to describe them. You can block or delete cookies and site data through your browser settings, although some features may not work as intended.

08Photos

We may photograph your setup before guests arrive and use those images on our website and social media. We do not post photos that clearly show you or your guests without permission. To ask us not to share photos of your setup, email us before your picnic. To ask us to remove a photo we've posted, email us and we'll take it down.

If you book a photographer through us, the photographer receives your event details to provide the service. Photos are delivered to you and handled as described in your booking.

09Emails and marketing

  • Booking messages. We'll contact you about your booking by email or phone. These messages are part of our service and are sent even if you don't sign up for marketing.
  • Unfinished booking reminders. If you enter your contact details but don't finish booking, we may email you a reminder, sometimes with a discount code. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • Marketing emails. We send news, offers and seasonal ideas only if you've agreed to receive them. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, or you can email us to opt out.
  • Surprises. For proposals and surprise bookings, we contact only the person who booked, never the person being surprised.

10How long we keep it

  • Booking and payment records are kept for up to 7 years for tax, accounting and legal purposes.
  • Dietary and allergy notes are kept only as long as needed for your booking, then deleted or anonymized within 12 months.
  • Unfinished bookings, messages and inquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 2 years.
  • Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove details that identify you.

11How we protect it

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections on our website, secure payment processors, and limiting access to people who need it to deliver your picnic. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If we learn of a data breach that affects you, we will notify you as required by Utah law.

12Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • Access the personal information we have about you.
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information, except what we must keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons, or to complete a booking you've made.
  • Get a copy of the information you gave us.
  • Stop marketing emails at any time.
  1. Email oasisluxuryevents@gmail.com from the email address on your booking, with the subject "Privacy request."
  2. Tell us what you'd like us to do. We may ask a few questions to confirm your identity.
  3. We'll respond within 45 days.

Send a privacy request →

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws. We will honor requests as required by applicable law and will not treat you differently for making one.

13Children's privacy

Our website and booking service are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Children may attend picnics booked by an adult, and a parent may share details such as a child's name for a birthday sign. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

15Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we'll post a notice on our website or email customers with active bookings.
